Seeing deeply is a learned discipline and takes practice. This workshop will engage our mind, body and spirits as we learn to deepen our practice of mindful photography. Our intent is to encourage you to enter the embodied practices of mindful photography. Seeing deeply is an invitation to be more fully present to each moment as we learn to receive the images of beauty of this world. We might be so bold as to say that this is an invitation to photography as a spiritual practice. No photographic experience necessary, all welcome.

This workshop will be guide by Rev Peter Batten (UCA). Peter is a meditation teacher and practitioner and Creative Arts therapist. He has a background in photography and the performing arts. Peter has previously facilitated the Contemplative Photography Network at the Centre for Theology and Ministry in Melbourne.

To register your place in this workshop, contact Peter on the details above.

What to bring: camera (phone, point & shoot, top end Nikon, etc), Camera accessories (tripod, lenses, etc), Notebook and pen.
