In this fascinating illustrated lecture, discover the story behind the Gallery’s major exhibition for 2025, Turner & Australia, and Turner’s enduring appeal for Australian artists.
This talk will present a first-hand account of Gallery Director Simon Gregg’s recent study tour of England and will seek to understand the source of Turner’s extraordinary ‘vision’, which remains a potent influence for artists today.
