Not sure about what you can or can't ask for? Join an Elder Rights Advocacy advocate to learn about your rights when using aged care services. In this session, we'll cover:
• Who Elder Rights Advocacy is and how they can help you
• How to access My Aged Care and register for an assessment
• Your rights when using home care and residential aged care services
• Your options for aged care
You can also find out about the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), a free service that connects volunteers with people who might be feeling lonely in an aged care home or living at home while waiting for or receiving services through a home care package.
