Kids musical for school holidays
‘Being different isn’t bad’, so says Ugly, the central character of the junior musical Honk jr™ on stage in Maffra during the school holidays.
A delightful performance by a talented cast of young stars from across the region, Honk jr™ is the story of the Ugly Duckling playing at the Maffra Memorial Hall in the first week of the school holidays.
Full of some poignant moments mixed with some great comedy, this is a show for all the family.
Director Jenny Perry said that Maffra Dramatic society are very lucky to have such great talent in this cast of young players and it flags a great future for musical theatre in the region.
The joy of a musical full of strong singing, great acting, enthusiasm and energy brings this classic story to the community and is a great opportunity for families in the region to be entertained these holidays.
