The Meerlieu Rural Fire Brigade is celebrating 80 years of service to the community, having been registered with the CFA in 1946.
Past members, families and the wider community are invited to Meerlieu Hall on Sunday, November 15, from 11am for a special day of celebration.
Enjoy lunch, drinks at bar prices, member service awards, raffles, CFA truck and history displays, plus activities for the kids.
It’s a chance to reconnect with old mates, reminisce and celebrate the people who have been part of Meerlieu CFA over the past 80 years.
Past members are especially encouraged to RSVP by October 15 by emailing meerlieu.sec@cfa.vic.gov.au.
For more information, follow the Meerlieu CFA Facebook page.
