A classic, relaxed, Baroque style garden with classical statues, a fountain and formal hedge with urns at the entrance. Perennial borders full of big, blousy flowers are based on colour matching.
There are lakes with waterlilies and a pond, and a maple walk stretches between the perennial borders. Beautiful vistas abound with some careful cutting back to reveal glimpses of the breathtaking view. Silver birches, tupelos, crab apples and tulip trees are repeat planted.
Rhododendrons and azaleas should be in full bloom, with crab apple and cherry trees bursting into blossom. Fresh spring greenery will be appearing on the trees, and you may even spot some early roses beginning to bloom.
We will have tea, coffee and lunch available for purchase.
Entry: $10 Adults, $6 Students (with ID card). Free for visitors under 18 or students who have purchased an annual Student Pass (with ID).
