Stratford Homemaker Swap

A homemaker swap is a wholesome, community-driven gathering where local makers, bakers, and growers meet to trade homemade, handcrafted, or homegrown goods. There is no money or bartering involved; instead, participants simply share what they have created with their own hands to foster local connection and friendship.

How It Works
Bring five of the same item: Participants bring five identical units of something they baked, grew, crafted, or preserved.
Share and chat: Everyone gathers to display their goods, introduce themselves, and talk about what they made. (optional)

Trade for variety:
At the end of the meetup, everyone picks five different items brought by other members to take home in their baskets.
Popular Swap Items Baked goods & pantry staples: Sourdough bread, cookies, jams, honey, or homemade condiments Garden & floral goods: Fresh produce, seasonal blooms, herbs, or plant seedlings. Crafts & home goods Natural soaps, beeswax candles, knitted or crocheted items, pottery, and natural cleaning sprays.
