Start your day in Yarram, located on the South Gippsland Highway (M1). Yarram is renowned for its vibrant street art, particularly the striking murals by world-renowned artist Heesco. As you explore the town’s main streets, you’ll encounter these captivating artworks that have transformed Yarram into a celebrated street art destination. For breakfast, you can choose from several great spots in town, including Café Aga, Federal Coffee Palace, Yarram Bakery Café, The Bean Pedlar and The Blue Jay Cafe—each offering a delicious selection of breakfast options to fuel you for the day ahead.

Tarra Falls

From Yarram, head northeast on Tarra Valley Road (C484) for approximately 20 km until you reach the Tarra-Bulga National Park. A short 100-meter walk from the car park will lead you to a viewing platform where you can enjoy the picturesque sight of Tarra Falls, which cascade gently over a smooth rock face surrounded by lush rainforest. This serene location makes for a perfect photo opportunity and a peaceful retreat into nature.

Tarra-Bulga Information Centre & Swing Bridge Walk

Next, head to the Tarra-Bulga National Park Visitor Centre, located just a short drive from the falls, on Tarra Valley Road (C484). The information centre offers insights into the park's history, biodiversity, and various walking tracks. While you’re here, take a walk to Corrigan’s Suspension Bridge, which is one of the park’s highlights. The Suspension Bridge Walk is a 2.8 km loop trail that will guide you through lush rainforest to the suspension bridge, offering fantastic views of the valley and the Tarra River. It’s a relatively easy walk, perfect for stretching your legs and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

After your visit to the suspension bridge, head over to the nearby Inline Café in Balook, located at 1885 Grand Ridge Rd, Balook. Here, you can enjoy a relaxing morning tea surrounded by the beauty of the park. Woodside Beach – Experience 90 Mile Beach

From Carrajung, take Carrajung-Woodside Rd (C453) towards Woodside Beach, located off Woodside Beach Road (C453). Spend some time experiencing the stunning 90 Mile Beach, known for its vast stretch of sandy coastline and beautiful ocean views. It’s a great spot for a walk, or simply to relax and take in the fresh sea breeze. Woodside Beach is patrolled in the warmer months, so makes the perfect spot to cool off. 

Woodside Beach Hotel – Stop for a Drink
