Opened in December 1918 by Thomas Livingston MLA, this quintessential rural hall has served as a vital gathering place for more than a century, hosting everything from local Landcare meetings and community consultations to milestones and social celebrations. Maintained by the dedicated volunteers of the Wellington Shire community, the hall preserves the rich heritage of the Giffard Plains while continuing to provide a welcoming, functional space for community-led events, regional meetings, and local get-togethers.
