Childrens Playspace (Botanic Gardens)

Not so long ago playgrounds had an edge that spelled adventure, perhaps even a hint of danger, when things were not so cotton-wooled. Then this was lost as any hint of risk was removed. A good thing for some, but there is so much to be learned from having a space where learning by doing is encouraged. Creativity and risk (albeit managed) go hand in hand. Being brave while having fun is an important thing. We think we have the balance right here. New additions like the Viking Swing, where a bunch of kids, big and small, can be one together, and the Birds Nest swing, a lulling place by yourself or a tonne of fun with your pals. Mums and Dads surround, and laughter abounds. Some days, all of young Sale seems to be here, smiling.
