A Touch of Franz Liszt

Come along for an afternoon of exciting and delightful romantic music by Jacob Evans. Jacob will be performing some of Liszts most virtuosic compositions, including the famous Hungarian Rhapsody numbers 2 and 19, the brilliant Grand Gallop Chromatique, the beautiful Romance S619, and many others.

Born in Warragul Gippsland, Jacob commenced his piano studies at the age of 8 under local tutors. Having completed his Grade 4 in piano, he began professional tuition under the competent hand of Alison Kirkpatrick in Melbourne, who saw him through both his Associate (AMusA) and Licentiate (LMusA) piano diplomas. He also commenced the Cello at the age of 12 as a second instrument. Jacob loves performing, both classically and with his family. He has performed a number of classical piano recitals in the Gippsland area.
