With over 25 years of combined experience, the team at Fehst (pronounced feast) On Meats butcher shop—located at 122 Johnson Street, Maffra—have got your meat supply sorted. They pride themselves on old-school butchering with a modern twist. Established in 2024 and opening at the beginning of 2025, Fehst On Meats and their team pride themselves on great customer service and quality cuts.

The Fehst crew have all different ranges of meat covered, from lamb, beef, pork, and chicken to stocking local wild-harvest game meats from East Gippsland. Supplied by East Gippy Game, venison and kangaroo are readily available, while goat, buffalo, and rabbit can also be pre-ordered. All of Fehst On Meats’ sausages, hamburgers, pre-made stir-fries, casseroles, rissoles, pasties, and more are made in-house, with new items added weekly.

Fehst On Meats pride themselves on being able to source local meats and provide local products where possible. These include honey from Toongabbie, free-range eggs from Stratford/Briagolong, handmade hardwood platter boards from Maffra, and handmade deer-antler knives and handles made in Traralgon.

The Fehst On Meats team have a constant supply of venison cabana, venison strass, hotdogs, bacon, smoked chicken breast, and other smallgoods available.

Private body cut-ups aren’t an issue, and quarter, half, and whole carcass purchases are also available, including venison. They will cut and pack it for you, taking all the stress and pressure off.
