The Rosedale and District Historical Society is located in a colonial building in Cansick Street. The Historical Society is dedicated to housing an extensive collection of exhibits, artefacts and archives dedicated to the local history and heritage of Rosedale and Surrounds.
See the old Rosedale Council Chamber, displays from the Freemasons, tools, memorabilia, collectables, local history books, clothing, pictures, newspapers, maps and much more. Entry by gold coin donation.
The Rosedale & District Historical Society was formed in February 1988 and incorporated in 1990. They are a non-profit community group of volunteers who promote interest on the history of Rosedale and the surrounding area. Their activities are mainly funded by local fundraising efforts and membership fees.
