Licola Wilderness Village is a not-for-profit camp and the gateway to the Alpine National Park. Every type of group is catered for, large and small. Every year Licola Wilderness Village seeks to wow returning guests with changes and improvements.

Whether you want activities or just accommodation, there is something for everyone. With 270 beds and accessible accommodation and a huge range of free activities from mini golf, trampolines, swimming pool, giant games and puzzles, to disc golf.

If you want more, you can hire one of the qualified activity staff to take you on the 18 metre giant swing, the 150 metre flying fox, abseil, high ropes, climbing tower, archery or canoes.

Open seven days, Licola Wilderness Village is 250 kilometres east of Melbourne on the banks of the Macalister River, a great spot for fishing. A once thriving saw milling town Licola is now the only privately owned town in Victoria and the only one not on mains power.

Licola Wilderness Village has its own chapel and 'bush' weddings are becoming an increasingly popular alternative. The town's only shop, the general store, sells fuel, groceries, maps and many other items to satisfy a traveller's needs.
