The Gippsland Armed Forces Museum showcases the contributions of Gippslanders to our Defence Forces. Open from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, this regional military museum is dedicated to researching, educating, and exhibiting a diverse range of artifacts, including art, film, heraldry, photographs, personal records, and technology.
Through these collections, the museum highlights the significant role that Gippsland men and women have played in defending our country during both wartime and peacetime since 1885. The collection includes military service from 1885 to now, items vary from personnel items to weapons both long-arm, small arm and bayonets, as well as items from Gallipoli, France, and Belguim.
The Museum includes a Research Library where you can search through family histories, books and logs. A computer is also available for electronic research.
Volunteers are always welcome.

The Gippsland Armed Forces Museum will be open for the duration of the ANZAC Weekend Airshow! - Entry is free for all ticket holders, so don't forget to check out the huge amount of history on offer during your visit.
