Established in 1932, Dyers Transport is a family-owned business with a legacy built on a commitment to putting people first and consistently delivering excellence in service. Their national distribution network offers a wide range of tailored logistics solutions, including short and line-haul freight, contract logistics, temperature-controlled transport, warehousing, pick-and-pack services, third-party logistics (3PL), and more.
The Dyers story dates back to 1908 when Captain Charles William Dyer first began delivering goods on the Murray River using a paddle steamer. Fast forward more than a century, and four generations later, the Dyer family's transport legacy continues strong. In 1932, Leo Dyer expanded the family business, starting with just two trucks in Sale, Eastern Victoria. Today, Dyers Distribution remains 100% family-owned and operated by Scott, Greg, and David Dyer, with offices in over a dozen locations across Australia.
In 2016, Dyers expanded further with the purchase of a 2-hectare facility in Derrimut, which houses vehicle maintenance, temperature-controlled warehousing, and X-Dock capabilities. Our regional hubs in Dandenong, Morwell, Sale, and Bairnsdale further strengthen our ability to provide reliable logistics solutions, with a focus on customer service, compliance, and safety.
With over 550 passionate employees—many of whom have been with the Dyers family for over a decade—and a fleet of more than 600 vehicles, Dyers is proud to deliver for some of Australia’s most iconic brands. They’re committed to getting it right—on time, in temperature, every time.
