Sale Food Support Inc started as a group of volunteers that identified a growing need in the Wellington Shire community for food security. Since opening their doors in October 2022, there has been a steady increase in the numbers of community members walking though the doors. The numbers of vulnerable persons are ever increasing as inflation sky rockets and Sale Food Support are doing all they can to ensure that all concession card holder that walk through the doors will not leave until they have sufficient food to supplement their household needs.
How you can help
Sale Food Support Inc are always happy to receive food related donations eg. extra fresh produce from your veggie patch/ fruit trees or perhaps you've just cleaned out your pantry and have extra items that you no longer need. Feel free to pop in during opening hours to talk to our friendly volunteers or contact us using details on contact page.
